Specialties: Hair color including foil & cotton pad highlights, classic balayage, hair painting, color correction and keratin smoothing treatments

Claims to fame: Has a degree in Fine Arts & Design, has worked and taught in Italy and Paris, and has been with Fabio Scalia Salons since 2007

As hair became the canvas to his creative outlet, he started working for Compagnia Della Bellezza, one of the largest international beauty salons franchises. Following that, he spent two years in Paris teaching color technique and worked with some of the best stylists in Europe before making his dream to move to NYC a reality. He’s now become one of the city’s most established hair colorists and is known for some of the best balayage in NYC. Rocco believes hair color should appear effortless and natural, while maintaining the integrity and health of the hair. If you’re looking for an amiable colorist— with a meticulous and artful approach—you will love Rocco and his ability to create rich, multi-dimensional tones with natural nuances.
