La Sophia, our signature burgundy brush, is made for any hair thickness, type and length. It comes in three sizes depending on hair length, and provides an optimal grip from the root thanks to its reinforced boar bristles of different heights.
When choosing the right brush size, there are several factors to consider. You’ll want a brush that corresponds comfortably to the size of your hand. The style you want to achieve is another factor. You may find that a larger barrel size helps you achieve better results for long, straight hair; and a small or medium barrel may help you achieve smaller waves and curls better. If you’re unsure of what size you need, visit our salons to test the different barrel sizes and find the most comfortable fit, or send us a message through our contact form, and we will gladly guide you to the right brush.
With proper care, your brush will improve over time. Use gentle cleaning methods, such as a brush cleaner or sanitizing spray, instead of soaps and detergents that may harm the brush. When using a hair dryer, point in a downward motion to avoid exposing the brush to direct heat for extended periods of time. It is best not to immerse the brush in water, as it may damage the wood. If you use water to clean the brush, allow it to dry for at least 48 hours before using heat.

Game-changer for healthy hair
After using La Sophia for a couple of months, I have never seen my hair look better or feel as healthy. The quality of the boar bristles move the oil from my scalp through my hair and that helps distribute it so that my scalp looks less matted down/oily on days that I’m not washing — and it helps keep the mid to ends healthy.
