Fabio Scalia, born and raised in Italy, is known for his modern artistry, charisma behind the chair, and the mesmerizing technical precision of his scissors. He has been cutting hair since the age of 12 and perfecting his craft since—which now includes an expertise in hair growth and trichology (as is evident from the salon’s Instagram, he is dedicated to healthy, lustrous hair for his clients).
Fabio’s impressive global hairdressing credentials include training at top hair academies such as Aldo Coppola, Vidal Sassoon and TONI&GUY but also stints at top European salons from Milan to Monte Carlo. His philosophy, though, is that there is no quick fix; patience and following his regimen are the keys to healthy, beautiful hair that is perfect for you. He is proud to have designed and released a line of luxury hair brushes that debuted in 2022 and reflect his dedication to Made in Italy quality and the art of the perfect blowout.

Nordia was born and raised in Jamaica, where she began her hair career at Dels Beauty School. After graduating, she never lost sight of her goal to further her training and eventually move to the United States—where she continued her education at USA Beauty School, Vidal Sassoon, Hair Tech International, and The Hair Shop for Extensions. In addition to working at some of the best hair salons in Soho (such as Fabio Scalia, naturally) and NYC, such as Prive alongside Michael Angelo, she has also attended classes at Wella Studios, Ted Gibson, Oribe, and Diva Cutting Curl Lab. Nothing can stop Nordia, as she continues to level up her career while taking pride in ensuring every client leaves the salon looking and feeling their best.

WHY SHE’S A CUT ABOVE: After working and learning as Fabio’s assistant for two years, she is a force to be reckoned with as a colorist and stylist at Fabio Scalia SoHo!
Teresa found her passion for hair and the beauty industry at a young age growing up in Salt Lake City, Utah. And in 2020, she followed her dream and graduated with a degree in Cosmetology from Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design.
After graduating, Teresa had the opportunity to move to New York City to pursue her career in the beauty industry. In 2023, Teresa completed her education at the Toni & Guy Academy in London, and she is also Bellami hair extensions certified. You can get to know Teresa on our Instagram feed as well!

Emiliano Cori, who has known Fabio for years and followed along with his career and achievements, is the newest stylist in our Soho location. With a passion for and confidence in his craft, Emiliano is available for booking immediately and excited to be working with Fabio. He has been a stylist in NYC for over 10 years and brings with him a wealth of experience that includes working in all the major European cities including London, Paris, Milan, Florence, and Rome. In addition, Emiliano holds degrees from ANAM (Italy), TONI&GUY, Vidal Sassoon, and Frank Provost (as an educator as well).

Mirko, a Master Colorist known for his precise techniques and bold colors, is inspired by Italian design, nature, and today’s everyday woman. His training began in Italy at the TIGI and the TONI&GUY academies in Milan.
After moving to NYC, Mirko worked as a Creative Color Director for seven years before landing at Fabio Scalia salons—where he is dedicated to continuing his training and education. Clients love his bright and confident disposition, which he channels into his work as he helps navigate clients’ personal color journeys.

This is Lucio’s No. 1 talent, so it’s no surprise that he is known for some of the best balayage in NYC where his specialties include the art of creating soft, natural highlights and thermal relaxers. And while his career includes working at A-list salons in NYC, such as Prive, Serge Normant, and John Frieda, he is now proud to be behind the chair working at the —Fabio Scalia, of course! In addition to servicing the color needs of his clients in the salon, Lucio also travels to service celebrity clientele.

A master stylist and colorist, Mirian has spent the last two decades establishing herself in the world of beauty and hairdressing. While growing up in the Dominican Republic, she discovered a passion for hair early on, and then sought to expand her knowledge of hair technique and culture by traveling with the L’Oréal world tour in Europe. She is highly sought after for bridal and celebrity styling and, with her clients, creates highly personalized looks tailored to the individual’s lifestyle while maintaining the integrity and quality of their hair.
BELLA LIVOTI | STYLIST

CLAIMS TO FAME: Bella, a native New Yorker, honed her craft at Paul Mitchell School in NYC, graduating with honors as one of the top students in her class. Initially drawn to the vibrant world of color, Bella discovered her true passion lay in haircutting and styling, where her keen eye for detail and dedication to her clients’ needs truly shone.
With two years of rigorous training under her belt, Bella completed the intensive Fabio Scalia curriculum, mastering the art of hairstyling and haircutting. Bella brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise, having worked on photoshoots and editorial styling alongside Fabio Scalia, handling a diverse range of hair types and styles.
As a proud ambassador for Kérastase USA, she has also attended classes under the Kérastase program, further enhancing her understanding of the latest trends and techniques in haircare.

Born and raised in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, JC started her career at age 18 working in a family-owned salon. From there, she began her color journey, training in NYC under the guidance of Vidal Sassoon’s color experts—which then led her to landing positions at some of the best salons in Soho and beyond, such as Prive and Space.
She flourishes in the creative environment of Fabio Scalia’s Soho location and is always focused on maintaining the integrity of the hair. Now, after 20 years in the industry, JC is your go-to for Brazilian blowouts, straightening, and foil highlights!
